  • boost delay caused by throttle/accelerator position change
  • delay caused by inertial forces of spinning turbine (turbocharger radial speed 80,000-300,000rpm depending on turbocharger size)
  • reduced by ALS
  • depends on turbo size - larger the turbo, the more prone to lags
